Management Assessor


Our client is seeking a Management Assessor to join their team for 3 days a week on a 2 year FTC. This is delivery of the level 3 and level 5 apprenticeships (ILM & CMI) Purpose: To monitor and assess learners, ensuring they have access and opportunity to achieve the qualifications set out in their individual learning plan. Co-ordinate and manage the process of training, learning, assessment and verification through Apprenticeship Standards. Determine and develop training plans and where necessary negotiate opportunities for delivery through managed experience. Liaise and assist the customers to establish their recruitment and training needs assist with any screening process. To be proactive in developing relationships with members, clients and colleagues to contribute to the development of new business and the retention of existing customers. Key duties and responsibilities: To be responsible for and manage the achievement of learners to meet the 'Individual's Learning Plan' targets, ensuring timely achievements of their Programme. Maintain monitoring reviews on a frequency that does not extend outside eight weeks. To assess learners progress by various means of assessment and provide progress feedback and progress reports to learners and managers, to include identifying where appropriate learners at risk. To provide learners, colleagues and employers with timely, accurate and constructive feedback on learners' achievement, progress and areas for development that aids the learner's progress. To ensure the health and safety of learners and staff is paramount with the Centre's health and safety policy. To maintain learner records such as Section Tracking, MIS Database, Smart Assessor; learner reviews, reports etc. as required. Review and record achievements against the Management Apprenticeship frameworks. Liaise with the examining body; other training providers /sub-contractors as appropriate to ensure successful completion of the Management Apprenticeship; Functional Skills and Certificate, as appropriate. Carry out monitoring of provision through quality audits in accordance with schedules. Maintain 'Continuous Personal Development', keeping up to date with professional, lead and awarding body standards, and new learning technologies. Qualifications and Skills: Essential * Practical Employment law and HR Knowledge. * Trainer. * Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Internet. * Teams. * Delivering professional qualification programmes (eg.CMI, ILM). * Good presentation & communication skills. * Practical hands-on Management Experience. * Ability to coordinate successful delivery of training and assessment activities in accordance with current national standards and best practice. * An understanding of safeguarding for young and vulnerable adults. * Understanding of the current market UK Apprentice & Skills operates in with industry experience. * TAQA Assessor Qualification. Desirable * Practical hands-on HR Management experience in a HR Role. * A1 and V1 awards. * D32 and D33 Assessor Qualification. * Teacher training qualification. * Relevant Management qualification * An understanding of Apprenticeship standards. About you: * Decision-making and problem-solving abilities with the drive to make things happen. * Ability to prioritise and organise work. * Takes responsibility and can delegate when necessary. * Communicates well with others. * Experience of working in a customer focused environment. * Demonstrable experience in key areas. Job Details * The role will be home based with approx 3 days a month face to face delivery at their hub based in North Birmingham.
